Salt & Gorse is a video production company working with brands, agencies and organisations across the UK. We produce everything from single-day shoots for social content through to multi-day campaign productions for broadcast and commercial use. Brand Films and Campaign Production
This is the core of what we do. Brand films, commercial campaigns, product launches, lifestyle content. We work at a range of budgets, from short-format social-first edits to broadcast-quality productions with larger crews. Most of our clients are brands, agencies briefing us on behalf of their clients, or businesses making a significant investment in their visual identity.
We shoot primarily on Sony FX-series cameras alongside vintage and specialist glass depending on the brief. For projects requiring a larger format look, we work with partners for ARRI and RED access.
Corporate and Commercial Video
Company overview films, case study videos, product explainers, event coverage. We work with professional services firms, B2B businesses, and organisations that need well-made video content for their website, sales process or internal communications.
Our approach to corporate video is practical. We ask what the video needs to do commercially, then make decisions about format, length and style that serve that purpose. The result is content that looks professional and actually gets used, rather than sitting unwatched on an intranet.
Fashion and Lifestyle
We have a strong background in fashion and lifestyle video, working with clothing labels, outdoor brands, beauty and skincare companies, and lifestyle retailers. Our location between Cornwall and London gives us access to a genuinely varied set of shooting environments, from coastline and open countryside to urban industrial spaces and studio setups.
Fashion shoots typically involve close collaboration with creative directors, stylists and talent. We’re comfortable working as a lead production company or as the camera and directing resource within a larger production.
Surf, Outdoor and Adventure
Cornwall is where we’re based, and surf and outdoor content is genuinely part of how we got started. We shoot in the water with specialist underwater housing for the Sony FX3, and on land across a range of outdoor environments in Cornwall and the South West.
Clients in this space include surf brands, outdoor clothing companies, adventure tourism operators and sporting goods labels looking for authentic location content.
Social and Short-Format Content
Many of our clients commission longer-form content alongside a package of social-first edits cut from the same shoot day. This approach maximises the value of a single production day and gives clients a consistent visual language across all channels.
We can also take existing longer-form content and re-edit it for social platforms, or produce standalone short-format content for brands that need it.
