Podcast Production

Podcast
Production.

We produce broadcast-quality podcasts for brands, coaches and changemakers, bringing the same creative ambition we bring to brand films to every conversation we capture.

A fully mobile production service. No fixed studio required, we bring the studio to you, anywhere in the UK and internationally.

Creative Approach

People don’t subscribe to a format. They subscribe to a feeling.

A podcast is an invitation into someone’s space: the voice you trust on a morning run, the conversation you tune into while cooking dinner. Earning a place in someone’s routine takes more than a microphone and two chairs.

We treat every series as a piece of filmmaking, not a content format. Sharp visuals, broadcast-quality sound and a creative eye applied to every episode, so the conversation feels shaped, not just recorded.

Why Salt & Gorse
We don’t ask you to come to a studio. We bring the studio to you.

Our full production setup travels: multi-camera video, broadcast-quality sound and considered lighting, wherever the conversation happens. A studio, an office, a home, or somewhere unexpected that adds atmosphere to the recording.

No fixed location means no compromise on where your podcast can be made, or who can be part of it. We have recorded in custom studio spaces and built portable setups for environments never designed for sound, meeting broadcast standards in both.

What We Create

From first idea to finished episode.

Every series is built around what it needs to succeed, recorded wherever the conversation happens, and edited to the same standard we bring to broadcast and brand films.

01

Pre-Production & Format

We shape the style, structure and feel of your podcast before a single mic is switched on, so every episode has a clear purpose and a consistent identity.

02

Studio & On-Location Recording

Multi-camera video and industry-standard broadcast audio, captured wherever the conversation happens: studio, office, home or somewhere unexpected.

03

Mobile Production

A full production setup that comes to you. No fixed studio required, anywhere across Cornwall, the wider UK or internationally.

04

Post-Production & Edit

Audio mastering for clarity and consistency, video editing that matches the pace and tone of the conversation, plus music and sound design where the episode calls for it.

05

Highlight Reels & Social Cut-Downs

Short-form edits built from every episode, planned at the shoot so social and paid content is never an afterthought.

06

Show Notes & Transcripts

Titles, transcripts and show notes prepared for discovery, delivered ready to hand to your team or publishing partner.

Behind Manifestation, with Corisande & Matt

A raw, unscripted conversation, filmed on location in Cornwall.

Matt sat down with his wife, Corisande, for their first ever on-camera conversation, exploring the realities of postpartum identity, the shifts that follow life-changing moments, and what it means to manifest as a couple.

Self-shot, directed and edited entirely in-house, the episode closes with Matt and Corisande answering questions from their online community, a format built to feel intimate rather than produced.

Podcast Production FAQ

Questions we are often asked.

What is professional podcast production?

Podcast production covers everything from format and structure through to recording, editing and delivery. At Salt & Gorse we treat it as filmmaking rather than content creation, sharp visuals, broadcast-quality sound, and a finished episode made with the same care as a brand film.

Do you offer audio-only podcasts, or only video?

Both. Multi-camera video and broadcast-quality audio are captured in parallel on every shoot, so you can release video episodes, audio-only feeds, or both from the same session. If your show is audio-first, we plan and light accordingly.

Do we need our own studio space?

No. Our production is fully mobile, we bring the full camera, lighting and sound setup to you. That could be a dedicated studio, your office, a home, or a location chosen for atmosphere. We have built broadcast-standard recordings in all of these environments.

What happens in post-production?

We master the audio for clarity and consistency, edit the video to match the pace and tone of the conversation, and add music or sound design where it is needed. We can also deliver highlight reels, cut-downs, show notes and transcripts. We hand over a finished, ready-to-publish set of files. Uploading episodes and managing your channels is something we leave with you or your existing team, so you stay in full control of how and where your podcast goes live.

Can you help us develop the format if we don’t have one yet?

Yes. Many clients arrive with a strong instinct about the conversation they want to have, but no fully formed format. We work through structure, episode length, visual style and tone before we ever pick up a camera, so the series feels considered from episode one.

Do you work outside Cornwall?

Yes. We are based in Cornwall but work nationally across the UK and travel internationally for the right projects. Our mobile production setup means location is rarely a limiting factor.

How much does podcast production cost?

Costs vary depending on series length, crew size, equipment and the level of post-production required. We work with a range of budgets and are happy to be direct about what is achievable within yours. The best starting point is a conversation. Book a call and we will give you an honest picture of what we can create together.
