When Tarquin's Gin launched its first ever crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube in 2026, Salt & Gorse was brought in to produce the pitch film. The UK's No.1 super-premium gin brand - 100% founder-owned since day one - was opening its doors to outside investment for the first time, with a target of £1m to fund US expansion and a European rollout for Tinner Bros Whisky.

Rather than a conventional investment video, the film was built around the people and the place. The distillery in Cornwall, the stills, the bottling line, and the team who have grown the brand from a single copper pot still into one of the country's best-loved independent spirits. The aim was to give prospective backers a direct, honest sense of who Tarquin's are before they read a single figure.

The Crowdcube crowdfunding raise closed having raised £892,480 from 1,048 investors. The film sat front and centre on the pitch page throughout, and was central to communicating the brand's character and ambition to a new audience. The Tarquin's crowdfund film is part of our brand video production.
